Here are my random thoughts for today. What are yours?

I have never slipped on a banana peel but have been led to believe by TV that it is common. I always wanted to try it but feared it would be a mess to pick up hurt really bad and I would have to explain it to my dad.

I have never had my knickers in a knot.

I can’t open a beer bottle with my teeth or the edge of a counter and admire those who can. I admire them not only for their handiness, but also for their carefree views of dental care and counter integrity.

My childhood bully is now fat. You can only guess how I feel about that.

I have tried and failed numerous times to whistle through my fingers. Thank goodness I am married and no longer need to cat call from job sites.

I will never drink southern comfort or lemon gin again. Thank you high school.

The word cheesy makes everything sound better. Case in point: apples and cheese sounds good but cheesy apples sound fun-tabulous! Although cheesy game shows may sound lame, if you watch it with the right attitude you too could win a set of knives in your mind. Nothing wrong with that.

My childhood favourite stuffed toy was a mouse named Mitsy. She still lives at my Dad’s house in the cold room and I visit her when I visit him.

My grandpa turned 97 recently. I called him when he was starting his second happy-hour drink and his girlfriend was cooking him dinner. I aspire. Happy 98th year Grandpa!
